Early this morning, about 4.30 am (ish) I kept hearing a whisper of "excuse me" down my ear
Only others in the house are Tigger and Willow and I'm certain it wasn't them cause they can't say English words they say meow Although Willow has learned how to say NOWWWWWWWWWWW when she wants something immediately Ebony (my angel) was able to say the word "home" but they can't say "excuse me" only in cat language - Willow glaring also I could not move until Willow came up into bed with me I could feel myself breathing way too fast and couldn't stop, until Willow came into bed am I going nuts? |

I think you were visited by some kind of spirit who was up to no good. Willow sensed this and protected you. Being a cat, Willow is keenly perceptive during the night hours and keeps an eye on things for you.

Full disclosure - I'm not nay saying the possibility of a malicious spirit, or any spirit, being involved for that matter. But if we're going to jump to paranormal we should eliminate normal causes first. Mainly with one question.
Were you waking up or falling asleep when you heard the words excuse me, or were you fully awake at the time? If you were waking up or falling asleep, then it's highly possibly that it was a light occurrence of sleep paralysis. And kitty woke you enough to break the effect. However, if you were already fully awake, then we can assume it wasn't something like sleep paralysis and maybe a spirit. The spirit may not have been malicious either. It could be the emotional weight of the soul that paralyzed you, and the soul was just passing through (pardon the pun). __________________ Somnio, ergo sum. I dream, therefor I am. |

Willow sounds like the whisper you heard was actually part of a lucid dream you were having while you were in the process of waking up. That's happened to me a few times. Sounds in our dreams drift into our conscious minds while we wake up that can confuse our brains. It's cool when it happens but also weird. The human brain is wild.
