I've had this recurring dream for many, many, many years.....

A small group of people including myself are in a snowstorm in the woods....we are struggling to find warmth....we find a cave with little coves inside.

There are blankets and a kettle/fire to boil warm water. I am tending to each person to be sure they get warm.....

In another area of the cave, there is brightness with vegetable plants growing all kinds of vegetables, and I use these vegetables to provide nourishment to the people I am caring for.

Anybody want to take a stab at helping me figure out what this dream means?

Knowing about your post in the parents section I would say off hand that this dream is your subconscious trying to let you know that you are a good nurturer.... a good mother to your kids.

Recurring dreams are quite important. Generally they mean that there is an unresolved issue, for most of them are distressing or even horrible. Yours doesn't sound so terrible, but does speak to some underlying sense of having to provide and take care of everyone else, perhaps to your own detriment?

When a dream recurs it is usually triggered by a life situation or event that reminds you (your unconscious) that you haven't settled that aspect of yourself yet. The brain uses dreams to try and process information. Yours seems to be "stuck" in this one aspect.

The best interpretation will be your own. Whatever you think it is, it probably is. Hope the suggestions here will lead you to find - and resolve- whatever it is in your life that you want to change.
