I'm not sure what I'm going to do but have always wanted to quit. I've been smoking pretty much a pack a day since 17yo, or ~15 years. tho lately I'm up to nearly a pack an a half a day =/

Positives
I only have 3 smokes left
I have no $ available for another pack
I have no way to get to the store for more
I announced it on my fb, hope that drives me to stick to is
I announced it here as well, tho i doubt anyone here knows me

Negatives
Just left a long time relationship
I'm really proficient at getting things when i "need" them

This is going to suck.. but I'll try as many of the suggestions (such as straws and gum and rewards for going another hour) as I need to to break this habit.

Feeling miserable is okay. I mean, it's not. But it's okay when you are quitting something. Feel free to be cranky. Remember to ask for help. Any way you can get some nicotine gum or patches?

Sending good thoughts your way. E
