has anyone had any luck with an e-cigarette? I have one, but it doesn't work well. I paid $75 for it last summer. as it turns out the one with the button is the one to have but I don't know if I should spend another $100. the one with the button actually provided enough vapour that I felt like I was really smoking versus the one I have where I have to suck super hard and get nothing to blow out.
just curious what others think. thanks!

I am using one from GreenNicotine.com
You do have to suck harder, but it provides a safe, non-odor vapor that you blow out. The one I have is re-chargeable. There is also one that is disposable for about $20 so you can test it and decide if you want to continue that way or not.

Hi Suki, I am a believer in e-cigarettes. I have used them now for over two years.
Many, many years of nicotine addiction, and I have quit before, but only for a few months. It's the hand to mouth thing. I went through the smaller units and they satisfied for awhile. I belong to ECF, which is Electronic Cigarette Forum. They have many listings there as to the e-cigs. and juices and parts. I do have some COPD and my lung Dr. is very content with my switching. I use the puresmoker V 3 and it takes two batteries..heavy metal and much larger than the smaller e-cigs....which wear out waaaay fast. I have likely gone though a dozen or more brands and can be costly deciding what to use. Now, I feel I have reached a plateau with what I am using and very content with it and my halo ejuice. I'm all for it, beats those 3000 or so added ingredients to a regular cig. bj

I hope to get an e-cig this week. I do need to stop smoking soon b4 its too late in life. A friend has an e-cig and I have tried it. It is one where he re-charges it through the computer (or like one charges a phone.)
You are correct about needing to replace the smoking 'ritual' of inhaling and blowing out (or playing with smoke) as we do when smoking. Also the e-cig (that I have tried) is very good for nicotine. It vape's the 100% pure liquid nicotine and it even gives one a 'hit' like a real cig does. So I do look forward to getting my e-cig. I really do believe that it will end the chapter in my life of inhaling 'tar' when I have a nicotine 'hit'.

E-Ciggs are good I tried one and liked it but I was going through a bit of stress at the time so went back to the real ciggs. Will try it again when I have no stress.

I didn't use one when I quit, I still don't use one. I didn't want to trade one addiction for another addiction ... didn't make sense to me

Yes! 10 days for me and it has been unbelievably easy for me this time. I don't know why. I swear by blu-I just plug it in the wall every day or two. No batteries. I'm a menthol smoker but the light menthol is good enough for me with these. And I can buy the filters off the internet and spend about 10% of what smoking cost me.
The doctors did tell me what I went through was like spending many years in a POW situation, but that is 13 months behind me now. And If I can quit dead on, the way I did, I can do anything. I just smoked the last one out of a pack, crumbled it up and said "I'm not smoking anymore." It was biblical. Good luck to everyone who has quit!
