I quit on June 23rd. I have had a couple of slip ups, but I haven't had more than 2 since then. I am on the patch, but that seems to just take a bit of the edge off. My insurance won't pay for Chantix and I can't take Wellbutrin because of the other meds I am on.
Anyone have any other ideas that might help me?

I quit about 3 months ago with nicotine gum. My Dr would not give me Chantix bc of the risks. Drink lots of water, stay away from alcohol, join a gym or buy a yoga/pilates/cardio whatever you can do video. Deep breathing exercises and herbal tea for the nerves like sleepy time of chamomile help. Also, there are tons of websites that show graphic pics of the effects of smoking. A girl I went to High School with, who always smoked, is recovering from throat cancer. She is 42. You can do it! It is SO worth the discomfort. Message me anytime
