Hubby is finally ready to quit. He thinks after his surgeries tomorrow he will be too miserable to notice his withdrawal. I quit for the entire 11 months he was in prison and had quit for two years before we got together. I'm just one of those people that I can't be around it or I want it. So if he really does quit I can quit again. Fingers crossed. Wish us luck.

Hubby is using a nicotine inhaler when the cravings get unbearable. I'm going cold turkey just get it out of my system. The sad part is he did Chantix. didn't smoke for 14 days then celebrated that he hadn't smoked in 2 weeks with a ciggie.

Good luck to you let me know how you're doing with it or if you just need support

MIL stopped by for a visit and we fell off the wagon. Apparently neither of us can be around someone smoking right now SOOOOO we told her we loved her but until we had a good solid foundation in she couldn't smoke around us and there would no longer be smoking in our home. She says if she can't smoke she isn't welcome and we are just doing this to cut her out of our lives. I agreed our decision to quit was all about her and we were selfish but it is what it is

So starting over again again but learning as we go.
