Hello friends,
I heard that writing about smoking cessation, like a journal, helps one quit.

Well, I guess I will have to come here often, and "blog" my thoughts, my agonies, and my fustrations with trying to quit. Permit me to blather, please.

I am happy to have found this forum; sort of serendipity!

respectfully yours,
Stephen

Hi, I'm also quitting. Maybe we can encourage each other? I am using the patch for now to get a start. Do you have a plan?

Congratulations to you both. You can quit, I did in 1994. I used the patch, also. It was worth it to quit.

Hope you are still trying to quit. I here if you want to post about it. I'm using the patch so it hasn't been too hard really.

You both are doing great. I quit the first time for about 10 years. back then, it was white-knuckle, cold-turkey. The second (and last) time I quit I used Wellbutrin and the patch. I say do whatever it takes to get through the cravings. I've been told that smoking is harder to quit than heroin.

give yourself a reward on occasion with some of the money you're saving.
Thanks for this!
