I had a relatively easy time quitting with the patch and also with Wellbutrin added, which was for depression but had the nice effect of blocking nicotine receptors.
But this weekend I decided it was time to take of the patch and see what happened. I was at the lowest dose and wasn't even sure if that was getting through because of the Wellbutrin. I did fine for the weekend. But Monday, oh my god, I felt horrible. Like something was really wrong and all kinds of bad thoughts just accumulated. At first I din't think it could be withdrawal from nicotine, but now I think that is what it is. There are no strong urges or cravings, just a negativity that is both physical and mental. I am really hoping that this is very temporary, but it was quite discouraging to encounter fully.

Glad it worked for you! I was smoking while wearing my patch lol. Finally quit (sort of) by switching to electronic cigs (vaping).
