I need some reinforcement, so I figured I'd check in to say I'm hanging tough. I've only had one piece of nicotine gum so far today and I'm not climbing the walls.

Great job! You should treat yourself to something nice with the money you would've wasted on cigarettes.

Now it's Day 10 and I continue to face this down. It's handy to be in such a depressed funk. I'm in such a state of agony that I never noticed the withdrawal. I dropped the nicotine gum a few days ago as well. This has been easy. I just wish the rest of life wasn't so hard!

Good job. Today i rode in the car and the two guys up front smoked but i didn't. When i got home and smelled the second hand smoke i stunk. Great awareness and i didn't desire any either. So i know the feeling and congratulations! You can do it. tc

Yes, you can do this.
If I am doing it anyone can
7 weeks today since my last dose of nicotine.
I didn't think it would get better, but it does.

So it's Day 14 now. Today has been a tough day but I'm somehow managing. Of course, knowing I can't afford cigarettes helps me to keep from falling down.

If I truly wanted to smoke, money would not stop me.
I'd find a way.
I have proven to myself that I can get through wanting a cigarette really really bad.
Now I just have to believe it every time I want to smoke.
