How connected or overlapping are anxiety and panic issues with sleep disorders ?

They can overlap. Anxiety and panic attacks can cause insomnia. Have you seen a sleep doctor about your insomnia yet? They are the experts. They can do a sleep study and figure out what is causing your insomnia.
