What do you do when you feel that everybody around you is like extremely good in something or everything and you aren't even though how much you try?

You try seeking yourself but can't find anything good about yourself. What do you do?

You might start by accepting whatever compliments you get. Write them down for future reference. You can also ask a trusted friend to tell you what they like about you and why. Then you have to believe them. Why does it seem that everybody is better than you in everything?

My mom told me once that there will always be someone better than you at something. It's not really possible to "be the best".

Be the best you can be, and be ok with that. That's my thought. I give 100% every time and if someone does something better, I still know I have done my best. I try not to compete with others. I only end up feeling worse.

Remember that depression tells us lies - especially about ourselves.

Hi p,

I think it depends if we are ill or not. If we are ill, then how could we expect to be able to compete with people who are not ill?

The truth is that some people have all sorts of advantages over other people, and being fit and well is a pretty big advantage over someone who isn't!

Peaceful thoughts, M

Good quote Petunia and when depression starts telling us lies we start to believe them. When others around you can see the real you but you can't. I believe in you! Your sure good at spelling lol and plenty more...
