cant understand why i keep going back to the same person when i have all the reasons to leave... and i have finally left.. yet i find myself wanting to go back.. what is going on here.. can anyone please help me understand where this feeling is coming from??

There's comfort and familiarity with those we have been close to even in the worst of situations. I have to remind myself of the reasons for leaving even if the other feelings come back and my wiser mind sets in then. It isn't easy making such a change. Sending good wishes your way.

Do you think you perhaps want to be with 'someone' and he/she is there and available? Maybe you are worried of being on your own?

With time you will feel more comfortable with the split, you'll be used to not being with that person and it will feel normal to not be with them.
