Yeah... I don't think it's easy, either. But the rebel inside me gets pretty excited by "never to walk in anyone's shadow." Maybe that came from my mom comparing me to all 13 cousins. Any one of them was better than me, according to her. I may have believed it then, but I don't believe it NOW.

learning to love yourself is one of the hardest things in this world to do! Why is that? i mean it is easy to love your children and your husband..... but yourself...
It took me forever to say that I love myself! I can say that and know that I mean it!

If we obtain our love from the truly Greatest LOVE (GOD), and lean on Him, imo... we will do better at accepting ourselves.... look at all the wrong that David (in OT) did, and yet it's written that he was a person after God's own heart! An interesting read, and shows some concepts that we can apply to ourselves.
