I have been anxious to donate some time to the adopt-a-highway program.

After lots of searching for available road, I found an area near me in need of adoption! It has been a looong time coming ~ I am excited and just had to share the good news. Rather than thanking me, or Finx, Inc., the sign will say Epilepsy Awareness. Nearly everyone who knows me also knows that raising awareness in epilepsy is my passion.

I am thrilled!! Let's hope that this makes my self-esteem go up a little. **hope**

The absolute best of luck to you and to your project, shezbut!!! It's really not at all unpleasant to go out on a reasonably sunny day with a plastic bag and collect all the detritus so blithely distributed over the countryside by our generous co-citizens! We usually all go afterwards to Popeye's for fried chicken. It's even better if it turns out that one of the groups adjoining ours is out on the same day! Then we buddy up and we all celebrate together after all the work is done! Of course, since we're down here in Florida we probably get better weather than you folks have to put up with.
