I am actually being dictated by my mother what to write in one of my college requirements as I type this post.
I try to be honest with them about my feelings but I usually compromise because I don't want them to feel bad. Tonight, I felt my first unusual chest pain.

Hi piggysmile
![]() I completely understand about the idea of personal freedom. My mother does the same thing about the dictating. She dictated what I was supposed to write to be accepted into a program I was in last year, and "helped" me write an essay for a first year English class. As for the being honest about your feelings and compromising, I've got that problem too. I'm sorry, I'm not really helpful. Just wanted to let you know you aren't the only one out there, and I hope you find a way to gain some personal freedom soon. Sending some good thoughts and hugs your way ![]() PS. You might want to get that chest pain checked by a doctor. It could just be stress/emotions etc causing it but its better to be safe than sorry.
