i cant stand my friend, she claims Im her best friend.I find her narcissitic and has a huge ego. Ive recently trying to stay away from her and have been rather curt with her twice in 2 weeks. Usually Im a door mat. What are the qualities to look in her to see if she is a good friend? Pls advise or share your views

trust, betrayal.. the ultimate test of a true friendshiip.
honesty, integrity, lack of hurtful gossip among others. true friends can share anything without fear of being attacked.

A true friend is genuinely happy for you when things go well for you. They are not envious but supportive, they don't try to bring you down.

There are “friends” who destroy each other,
but a real friend sticks closer than a brother. (an ancient proverb)

True, good friends will respect you for the good that is within you and treat you with respect. True friends will be loyal, loving, and supportive even in your most difficult moments. But most importantly, you must trust each other in order to consider you and others to be good friends.
