When I was going through my divorce (over 23 years ago!) and had 3 little children to raise with no child support, no job, and no prospects, I read a LOT of self-help books!! But the thing that helped me the most was reading quotes....inspirational, motivational, courage quotes, joy quotes...well, you get the picture!! These words warmed my heart, kept me going day by day, and gave me the strength I needed to be a better me.

You may not believe all these words at first, but if you repeat them enough, think about them, and see yourself for who you really are....you will. You are precious, you matter to the world, and you deserve peace.

No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
- Eleanor Roosevelt

Hugs to all,

I know what you mean. I used to look at quotes from past presidents and other famous people and I found comfort in them. A few of them even related to what I was going through/feeling at the time.
Thanks for this!
