first time posting. not sure where. saw similar post so maybe i should here. My low self-esteem comes from the fact that I always feel that I can't do anything well. even simple thing.
no matter how much effort I put in I end up getting the mediocre result. doing a simple thing seem complicated to me. try something for an hour and may not do it properly. everybody will make mistake and experience failure but will learn and progress normally but I always have to spend much more amount of effort/time I make more mistake and do more poorly even when compare to people who are a beginner with less experience. get into any activity for a long amount of time and you see people do much better than you who just start only a few day. it hard to have high self-esteem when facing with this fact. an attempt at improving self-esteem causing me feel like I am deceiving myself, believing you someone you not. having high self-esteem about yourself doesn't change the reality of what you capable of. so any advice/opinion? |

Hello plalo: The Skeezyks has always felt similarly.
![]() ![]() It is true also, however, that highly successful people often fail more than they succeed. It's just that it's the successes we remember. I think it may have been the American baseball player Babe Ruth of whom it has been observed he struck out more times than he hit home runs. Yet he is remembered as one of the great baseball players of all time. It's not how many times you fall down (or get knocked down...) it's how many times you get back up! I wish you well... ![]() ![]() |
