Someone to run situations by to check if I'm blaming myself unnecessarily or if I am right.

Is that a dumb idea?

Hi sophiesmom: No, the Skeezyks doesn't think it's a dumb idea. It's sort-of what I would imagine a good friend might do, if a person had one. I guess it could be a function a therapist could perform as well. I think we would all like to have someone in our lives.

Hi sophiesmom,

No, of course it isn't a dumb idea
And it can be real good to have a "sounding board"/someone to talk with to explore your thoughts too.

And kind of on a tangent here, sorry :
You know in some situations............even if it turns out you're wrong then there doesn't have to necessarily be self-blame
Sure you can regret something...........but sometimes you still need to accept that you did the best you could do at the time.............or that what you did was done with the best intentions............or you couldn't have done any more in the position you were in at the time............or that you're only human and are naturally going to make mistakes or get things wrong at times................

And I'd say that you never stop learning...........however old...........however experienced you are in something/somethings.............so for some wrong choices...........let's call them learning processes/experiences, hey??
