Lately I've been so anxious about life events and from over analyzing the past, that I've wanted to try hypnosis recordings to help. Has anyone had experience with this? Does it work?

No. And have actually considered it myself wondering if I got answers would it help quiet the thinking or make it worse knowing the answers or would it raise more questions?

I have hypnosis apps on my phone and I went to a hypnotherapist for a while. Each time, we would talk about my goals for the session then we would do hypnotherapy and record it. The hypnotherapy sessions themselves were moderately helpful but I think it would have been more successful had I actually listened to the recordings on a regular basis. I did not. I am looking into going to one again.
Thanks for this!

I've started listening to some as well
It's from a company called "uncommon knowledge". They have an app called Hypnosis Downloads. They're the best I've found. You pay for each hypnosis download, but then you have it forever. And they have a download for any problem you could possibly think of.
Like you mentioned though, I also struggle with consistency Anxiety: Have you tried hypnosis?
I've done it a few days, but it's tough to listen to one every single day.
But I do think it would be beneficial so I have to start listening to them regularly
