I don't know anymore.

I fear failure. I hate failure. I'm scared of failing tests. Any grade lower than 90% is a blow to my esteem.

I'm prone to jealously, unfortunately. If I see someone more successful, I get sad. It's irrational thinking and I can't stop it. I've tried. I hate myself for thinking like this. They didn't do anything worthy of my hate.

I've always wanted to be smarter, but for some reason, I can't.

Sometimes when you get too sick you completely give up, let go of fears and you get self esteem

I can relate! Whenever I took tests, I would HAVE to be the first one finished - even if it meant being sloppy and rushing.

With the jealousy part too, I would get so jealous whenever someone at work got a promotion or a special assignment instead of me...

It is somewhat better for me now, but I'm not really sure how I got here, to be honest... maybe just realizing that I'm a whole person, and one test score doesn't really mean all that much in the grand scheme of things?

I used to get really jealous of other people who seem happier than me. But I have to remind myself that everyone has their problems. Some people are probably jealous of me because they don't know what I'm going through.

This is sooooo true, we live in a culture that perpetuates the image of succes, just look at Facebook.

An old friend of mine, who I ended up in bad terms years ago found me and contacted me. She did she had just found out that she had brain cancer and she wished she had learnt the value of the positive ability of letting go. Letting go of old negative habits....

I think it's good that you have made some good insights into your self that is a great start. Accept your self.... meditation and positive affirmations throughout the day is a great way to changing the programing and also a great way of learning to accept who you are.
