What is self esteem to you? How would you see yourself if you had self esteem, what would be "different"?

feeking/feeling, they're "next" to each other :-)

But where does that feeling of empowerment come from? Do people with high self esteem never feel helpless at times? What happens when a person with high self esteem meets helplessness or conditions out of their control?

well, its difficult for me personally to maintain a constant stream of self confidence.. getting better though..

when i need more confidence i turn to my Faith... there is an abundance of esteem there to be drawn upon...

at a point in time when i am relying on faith i become more of a vessel than an individual ego requiring personal esteem..

Interesting page Perna. Thanks for the tip. Not sure where it comes from really. And I DO think that no matter how "self-confident" you feel, there are times when you feel low, and I think that's pretty normal. What is self esteem? thanks for the insight.
