I've been trying to build my confidence all my life and it doesn't improve. I don't have any confidence when I talk. It must have a name for it.

Experience & practical learning & age with lots of living experience has built my confidence.

Also listening & learning from well experienced people I trust has helped too.

I watched my mom while I was growing up have no confidence at all. As she finally started getting out of her little safe home environment & started doing things, her confidence started building. When my dad died, she had to start doing everything for herself & her confidence really started to build at that point.

For me, every time I successfully accomplished something it was a building point in my confidence. Have a whole list of things but I always believed I could do anything I wanted to do. Few limitations have limited that but can still do more than I ever imagined because with doing comes confidence

Have you researched social anxiety? Also it sounds like you have low self esteem.
