I translated the article Pedophile proposes to mother of his victim A Belgian pedophile proposed to the mother of his victim right after he was released from jail for molesting the then 13 year old boy. The day after he got released he went to live with the boys mom and june 3rd he proposed to her. He was in jail for 3 years in Cambodja. Anti pedophile groups are upset that the man moved in with his now 16 year old victim. They are especially worried about the younger brother who also lives in the house. Police confirmed he travelled to Belgium to take care of the needed documents for the wedding. He's planning on returning to Cambodja in the next couple of weeks.

Nothing more to say other than the mother should be locked away along with her soon to be husband. At least in the US we have what is called Megan's Law where they must notify people when a pedophile moves into an area and they are not allowed in a certain distance from schools. Well at least that's how I think it works. They obviously have no laws there to protect minors. What really makes me mad is the police know and are not doing anything about it correct?

yes but marrying your victims mother isnt illegal so i imagine all they can do is keep a close watch on the family
its just disgusting though... poor kids....
