I'm not sure what came over me this weekend, but I wrote a letter to my old T telling her about the sexual abuse finally. I also told my pastor that i grew up in an abusive household. I always felt like I shouldn't tell, but now I'm not sure why. I just feel like I'm sick of the secrets. The perfect family.. everything. I'm making it real.

oh estersvirtue, it is so good to say it out loud. It helps us to know it is not our shame or guilt to carry. Way to go! I am so glad you were able to do this. You can talk with me anytime about it.
