I'm hoping my parents' home is destroyed by Rita. So many bad memories happened in that home. My parents put more TLC in the house than they did for my brothers and me. Their hometown can only survive a Category 3 hurricane with 9 to 12 feet storm surge. They live a few blocks from the Intracoastal Canal. It's very likely their house will go bye-bye, since the current predictions are for 15 to 20 feet storm surge. I feel for the rest of the 250,000 people in the Southeast Texas area . . . BUT . . . Rita's justice comes soon for me.
