This is probably a wierd one.. And probably just me being a complete muppet..
From when i was held down when i was younger.. I won't go into any more detail from that point.
But regarding "pressure" as in literaly.. for example having a duvet on top of you applies pressure to your body right ?

Is it peculiar that I can't stand the thoguht of having anything more than my clothes that i have on, on top of me.. if i get more then i nearly instantly go into a blind panic..
DSGFEWPOSJKGS^£%)"... i just want to keep warm at night with a duvet but my bloody mind won't let me >_>

I have issues with pressure too. I can see why this would bother you.

I'm sorry you were forced to endure that abuse. Healing takes time, but it will happen if you let it. Therapists and pdocs can help. Good luck with healing.

It sounds to me that you need to talk to a trustworthy person about your thoughts. I do not think thoughts just, "correct themselves", unless we reveal them to someone who can help us correct them. I wouldn't take my own tonsils out, so I need help with irrational thoughts also. It is the same thing, I believe. Get help for yourself soon. You deserve to live a healthy life.
Thanks for this!

Brook ~ yes I know what you mean, its amazing how blindingly obvious something is but it takes someone to half convince you that its the right path to go down. I just have a dislike for my doctor since He declared me a "complete idiot" the last time i went. I know they are not all like that, but you see what i mean...?

I think your dr said something that caused you to "feel" like a "complete idiot." Any dr who, while treating a patient, called the patient, a complete idiot, would likely lose their license to practice medicine and be liable for a law suit filed against them for pain and suffering damages. It would be an expensive screw up for them. What did your dr. actualy say, if your OK revealing that?

i know for a fact that myself and my doc have always had a humorous sense of humour, which is where the comment came from, but it still hurt.. He is in no way aware of my psychological issues, as I know a psychiatrist completely unconnected to his practice, and his county in fact..

I'm glad that is the case. Sometimes jokes hurt. If it bothers you, maybe you should tell your dr.

I never cared for being covered up either.
