My kid's gym teacher is horrible, to say the least.

She's rather abusive, verbally and physically. She's ridiculed my daughter for being small for her age and says she's "physically challenged" because of it. Last year she was standing in the middle of the playing field and a ball that my daughter kicked accidentally hit her. She screamed at her and grabbed her arm so hard that she left bruises. I reported it to the school but nothing was done other than the teacher getting a talking to. A girl with asthma was having trouble breathing and she told her she was just fat and lazy. This coming from the teacher who's pushing 300 pounds and rides around in a golf cart instead of walking. A small victory - could trigger

She's grabbed girls behinds and chests and it's been reported to the school and nothing's been done. They always say the teacher's union keeps her protected. A few weeks ago, while demonstrating how to use a heart rate monitor on an 8th grade female student, she yanked the girl's shirt AND BRA up for all the class to see, boys included.

Rumor has it that she's finally been fired due to sexual misconduct.

It's about damn time!

She's been a teacher in this school district since before I would have been her student, like 30 years at least, and all of the parents who had her say she's always been like this.

I'm just amazed at what they've let her get away with all these years.

She made the kids go outside and play speedball this fall, on wet, slippery grass. I guess it's sort of a cross between soccer and football. One of the boys fell and broke his leg and she refused to take any responsibility for it. A small victory - could trigger

I am glad this teacher has been fired. Pity she wasn't locked up too! I am happy your daughter does not have to be subjected to her anymore.

Crying isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of having tried too hard to be strong for too long.
