I feel sorry for the three people that didn't get all their justice. How must they feel having the jurors basically telling them that they are lying. God bless them and they will get justice eventually even if it is after he dies and I'm sure it won't be a picnic in prison the rest of his life.

I'm talking about the verdict in the Sandusky case. He was found guilty on 45 0f the 48 counts. There was at least one guilty for each victim but to have a not guilty verdict is not full justice for victims 2,5, and 6. If I ever remember what happened I know that the statute of limitations would most likely be up but if it wasn't I'd want guilty counts on all charges to feel like I got full justice. There is a count by count rundown of the verdicts here.

Oh, I just saw that the verdict came in. Well the ones that did not get justice can file a civil suit and drain his funds etc.
However, he is going to meet his end behind bars, stripped of all his glory, and he may even become a victim in jail as well from other inmates, that does happen. But what I like the most is the awareness as well as it will encourage victims to speak up, even if they are the victim of someone who seems to have power like Sandusky. And what I also like is that it will bring another wave of awareness to parents to be more careful who their children are around as far as mentors and authority figures are concerned. Parents are way to trusting and ignorant and this will hopefully be a wake up call to pay more attention. Open Eyes |

What i read there were 10 total victims before the son came forward, 52 original charges. It seems all the victims did get justice, but in a case one can face numerous charges for one single crime, i believe thats where the 48 came into play. Only 3 charges dropped, who knows what they were. Justice has come finally but no sentencing could take away these victims pain. Yet again i am sickened, as with many cases like this, at how many times he was caught before they ever did anything. One man walked in on it but never said anything because "jerrys a saint" a boy told his mother and guidance councelor but was told "sandusky has a heart of gold" why do so many people refuse to believe children? No boy would lie about something like that. It could have all been dealt with at the beginning had these boys gotten the help they needed. It makes me furious that nothing was done before hand and that penn state tried to cover it up. I hope that school burns to the ground. Was a football game more important than these childrens lives? Ugh i am so sick with grief for these poor boys and what they went through
