I wouldn't say I have PTSD anymore, from my past emotionally abusive relationship. But I still have nightmares sometimes. What sucks is that even though he never physically abused me, he does in my nightmares. I've only had maybe 3 nightmares about him this year so far, which is pretty good compared to the hell I went through last year.
The night before last, I had a dream that he and I got into a fight and he grabbed me by the arm and threw me into the wall. I don't get why I have physical abuse nightmares when he never physically abused me! Tortures me. But on a good note, a help organization sent me a list of counselors to choose from so I can get some help for this and my depression/anxiety. |

I'm so glad to hear you are going to get some help. Depression and anxiety could be causing the dreams. Hopefully, the conselor you get can help you with this. Sure glad it doens't happen often. Best wishes.
