I'm sorry you are struggling so much at the moment. Are you able to talk to your mum about your fears? See if she actually plans to tell anyone and explain why you don't want anyone else to know. It might help to alleviate some of the fear.

I feel for you so much, mummymooch. It's so very wrong that you were not being supported by the people who are meant to protect you. I'm very sorry for your suffering and your aloneness. Please say that you've been able to find some support - maybe your mum has listened to you? I hope at least that the fearfulness has passed, that you're feeling safe and ok. And I hope you're able to have some help to heal from all that. Hugs and love to you

Mummymooch, My sister went through the exact same thing. She was abused by our uncle and to "keep shame from coming to our family", no one came to her aide. She was destroyed by it and my mom used it to torture her by dropping her off at his house while she went out for hours. The secret hell we faced as children was torture and all I can say is that I've been there, and that, that fear can rule your life. So don't let it! Try and take back some control and relax, do some deep breathing, exercise before bed, eat healthy and keep away from caffeine and nicotine/other substances that increase anxiety. It will get better and at the very least you're not alone.
