I told my counselor last week that I wanted to work on feelings and emotions because I am emotionally numb. He thought I was ready for that and he seemed glad I asked about it. He started asking me questions, like do I want to take my life which I don't and if I feel safe. Now I'm worried about what he is planning to do. I already cut or burn myself, I don't want to have a breakdown. Does anyone know what kind of things he'll be asking?

You should probably be the one to lead such a session... talk about what YOU feel comfortable talking about... and if he does ask questions...know that you don't have to say anything you aren't ready to say, so go easy with yourself.
has he given you and coping techniques to replace cutting and burning? I hope so... I don't understand it myself, but my heart goes out to those who do this...maybe you can snap a rubber band on you wrist.... draw red.... Try not to worry... you can't force yourself to have emotions... it has to come freely...you will be fine... FaithisAlive

i dont know what he will be asking but you are in my prayers and i know you are strong hearted and will be able to look deep within yourself and even if you cant answer all his questions...they are things to think about...maybe in the end it will help, maybe you should tell him you are worried...dont worry....itll be ok InACorner
