Is it normal in order to master the powerlessness a child felt during csa, that they become aroused at memories of what went on?

I would think so. After all, the body reacts to stimulation and that's part of the whole memory. Try to not be upset by that.

ETA: Hopefully you'll work through all that in therapy.

Hi Mouse, I'd say that becoming aroused at the memories can happen and people shouldn't ever feel ashamed/have their experiences discredited about that in any way but I'd never advise someone to try and become aroused by those memories as part of the recovery process.
And we should never forget how wrong CSA actually is/how wrong we know it is.................but perhaps I'm misreading what you're asking in your thread????
Just...........here if you want to talk................

Alison
