How do you delete a thread?

Reading this over, I feel really stupid. None of it is a big deal. It's stupid. It's just stupid hormonal people.

Hello Confused213: You wrote it several times yourself here. None of this was your fault. But, yes, someone was hurt... YOU were. You're still carrying the memories of all of this around, along with a certain amount of shame & embarrassment it sounds like.

These kinds of trauma can stay with a person for many years... in some cases... a lifetime. I was bullied both verbally & physically throughout high school & although I'm now in my 60's I still carry the trauma of that experience around with me.

Studies being done nowadays are showing that these types of experiences can impact a person's mental health well into adulthood leading to increased levels of depression, anxiety, difficulty maintaining relationships, poor job performance & other things. So it's important for us not to discount or minimize what happened to us.

I'm very much pleased you were able to share your story with us. I hope you will be able to continue to take advantage of opportunities to talk about it, such as in therapy. I believe doing so will be helpful to you in being able to put these sad experiences to rest once-&-for-all.

Thank you.

Yeah, I write on here when things get hard. And this is the first time that I've accepted what happened to me and I'm saying it happened. I am saying that it happened when I was a girl,
And not saying maybe
Not saying maybe not,
Not saying sort of

I'm just ready to say "yes" and forget it all.

Thanks again
