I totally feel your pain on that, i'm so afraid that HE will find my posts, I don't even want to imagine what would happen if he did. But I understand sometimes you just need to let it out. I can lend you an ear and a shoulder to cry on. PM if you need. I'm here for you.

Try and find ways of being gentle and caring to yourself on our behalf, Tongalee. I can understand not wanting to write things down, but it doesn't mean you don't need support.

Thank you guys. I really have struggled this last week. I need to find the courage to talk to my therapist about this. Like in detail. I feel like it's the details of the flashback that are eating me up inside. I tried to leave it on here, but second in I felt like vomiting I was so anxious about it.

How are you coping with it today? The little details are always the worst part. If you ever need to pm flashback stuff or things you don't feel comfortable posting because you worry someone will read it, i am happy to read it.

Hi Lily,

Thanks, I'm doing okay right now. I might take you up on that because I really can't talk to anyone about it face to face.

That's good that you are feeling a bit more in control at the minute. I know what you mean about talking about it.I am having flashbacks at the moment, and I find that part of what makes it difficult to tell someone is that I become completely inarticulate whenever I try to put it into words. I go all numb and mute or do something completely inappropriate like laugh! It's a strange thing this abuse and trauma stuff xx
