well after a lifetime of various abuses (yes I have survived every kind of abuse there is at one time or another to also include adult bullying) and while I will admit that some cases were not as extreme as others have experienced, it was still pretty extreme to me. so all this has me so disassociated from myself, that over time I have been conditioned and / or convinced that (or just about convinced in some cases) that there is no such thing as any of the softer emotions. you know, those of love, kindness, respect, dignity, like, happy, feel good, and all the rest that I don't have room to name. for my life and experiences I have been taught that life is nothing more than pain (physical and emotional) and suffering (and I do suffer from chronic pain as well).

this is how I am, and with a bum ticker and failing kidneys I don't have much time left on this planet. because of this I am desperate to be proven wrong and that those softer emotions do exist somewhere besides in the movies.

(((Skywoulf)))

I am so sorry you are feeling like this. I too have chronic pain, and know how much it makes everything else just so much harder to bear.

The softer emotions do exist, and I hope that you can find some evidence of this for yourself soon.

Abuse doesn't have to be "extreme" to really hurt a person emotionally or physically. And it is never deserved. I think... that people sometimes feel like they have to be apologetic for how bad the abuse they experienced was (or wasn't). I understand feeling that way, I do too way too often, but really what matters is abuse is harmful to the victims, and even to the perpetrators.

I am so sorry that you have been through so much. I wish I could make the pain go away. I wish I could bring peace and softness to you. I wish I could make it all better for you. But all I can do is be here for you, and send my warmest thoughts your way.
Thanks for this!

Yeah,I know what you mean about the emotions.
There are very many people who are sick in the head, and view those soft (and most important)
emotions as 'weakness'. This is why they are sick
in said head--YOU are the healthy one,so do not
put self down,or let any of the sick ones put you
down.
Deepest Respect,
BLUEDOVE
