Ok so this is weird but it keeps coming back to me and I wondered if anyone could either relate to it or maybe make sense of it...
So when I was little, this would happen when I was lying in bed at night mostly. It was always when I had my eyes closed and it used to distress me a lot so that I would stay awake until I was exhausted enough just to fall into sleep. I would close my eyes and be confronted (in my mind) with an image of a shape (no specific shape, just some form or other) and it would keep expanding and multiplying until it got so massive I would open my eyes. Other times I would see some thing, like a shape again, that would multiply like bacteria does if you're watching on a microscope, it would keep multiplying and give me this awful skin crawly feeling as it happened. It used to really distress me and make my skin crawl and tingle and just make me feel totally horrible inside, I wanted to be able to get away from myself somehow. Does anyone relate to this at all or can you help me work out why I had these weird experiences? ETA: I'm sorry if this makes no sense, it was hard to describe. I was pretty young when it happened. |

I had a somewhat similar experience from when I can remember until I was 6. This is going to sound so fruity, I've never told anyone but my sister....who called me a fruitcake! I would see a telephone poll and equally tall sheeted man. As they would get closer, my heart would almost explode. I heard a noise, (probably my heart beat), with every thump they would take a step closer. We moved when I was 6 and luckily the telephone poll didn't follow!
