My mom keeps yelling at me when I cannot do something, yet she won't do it. Then if I start crying because she is forcing me to do something against my will, she tells me to stop whining.

I am so sorry your mom is yelling at you. Can you ask her to talk softer and help you understand how to do what she is asking you to do?

Is this something you have talked to your therapist about?

I am sorry. This is traumatic. It hurts you emotionally, and dcan also hurt you physically.

The Verbally Abusive Relationship by Patricia Evans can be helpful. Can you talk to her, without her getting angry and yelling?

She probably isn't angry with you but it might be about other stuff, having nothing to do with you, but the results are still the same.

My mom won't stop yelling when she wants me to do something. I have not talked to my therapist about this. She won't let me talk to her.
