Walking down an alley at ten years old was never my best idea considering volterra is rife with crime and selling of young girls for high prices the pure the girls desent the higher the price as a pure English girl living in volterra I knew I had to be careful but the problem was I knew this was a short cut to my home so with confidence I started to walk down the alley everything was fine and going well I was nearly at the end until there was a sharp pain the the back of my head and a cloth infront of my mouth that was the last a remember before waking in a room made out of a white glass material I was dressed in a cheap white gown my hair was a mess and I smelt awful there were no items the the room no bed no chairs no table few things were an intercom, cctv camera and a tray of food with a note saying "eat it ***** or die" as you would assume I was staving so I scoffed it down after that I was tired and wanted to sleep so I curled in the conner and cried for my mum and dad.

I was woken by a loud voice ringing out on the intercom "ladies we will now go through the normal process please report outside your rooms seeing shadows of other girls I pushed the door it opened and I walked out into the long line of girls there were at least 50 if not more of us all the the same dress many different. Nationalities of girls American, African, British you name it there was at least one from every country the line aproched a table with a man sitting behind it scanning everyone's wrist and a sample of blood an important looking man in an expensive suit watching us I noticed his eyes focusing on me that was probably because I must be one of the youngest here when I got to the head of the que I stood there "wrist please" the man said grabbing my right wrist and for the first time I noticed a tattoo on my wrist it looked like a barcode the kind you get on your food at a supermarket then grabbing my finger he pricked it and stamped it down on a bit of paper with my details on it then I was pointed to one of two ques.

To this day I still have the barcode I'm not sure to get rid of it or not so what I'm asking is, would you get rid of it?

Hello and welcome to Psych Central,
This community is full of kind and caring members.
If you have a question or just wish to talk, don't hesitate to give me a message
(Click my name in blue to the left of my post)
I also wish to point out that if I don't answer (which I normally do ) or I'm not online, the community liaisons are always looking to help.
Identifying one is easy, the term 'community liaison' is right below their name
Take care ~

Lying monsters are a real nuisance: They are much more cunning than others. They pose as humans even though they have no understanding of the human heart; they eat even though they've never experienced hunger; they study even though they have no interest in academics; they seek friendship even though they do not know how to love. If I were to encounter such monsters, I would likely be eaten by them... because in truth, I am that monster.

Thanks for this!

What do you see as reasons to get rid of it, and reasons not to get rid of it?

I would cover it with something meaningful to you. I am thinking about getting a lotus tattoo because it symbolizes rebirth. I think it would be symbolic to put something like that over it. Smother that barcode and don't let them win.
