Hi, I met a friend who is cool but her husband is an abusive ****. She almost left him the other day but he bought her a car as a "gift" and then was saying how it's really his and he will take it off her and cause her legal trouble. He was also implying that he will take her kid even though he is such a useless father he wouldn't even feed his own daughter the other night and cried to my friends mother to come feed her. He has turned her family against her and they all talk crap about me too cos when she met me she started standing up for herself and now they can't all treat her like their little slave cinderella. She showed me a recording of her dog husband saying I am an idiot with a bad personality. All cos he is jealous that she hangs out with me but hates him. He can't take responsibility for being abusive. When we went on a holiday he tried to use their daughter to guilt her by literally THROWING the kid outside and locking her out while we drove off which made my friend cry but we had to just go to not prolong the trauma for the kid. The trip was planned. He works away but when he comes home he barley spends time with the kid. He gets shi*ty if she wants time without the kid to do things for herself and have a break. I am getting so mad and finding it frustrating not to lash out at her abusive family and husband. She does have one family member who is not like them though. They are trying to blame me for all the things she does even though we are fairly new friends. They treat her like a doormat. She is not allowed to be herself. She has changed and told them she is sick of being a fake person with air head fake friends. She told them she is not really that person and cut her hair/dyed it etc to be more how she really feels. They tell her it's because she is mentally ill and that she is not the person she is now. They demean her and tell her that to be well she has to go back to being the person they want her to be though she keeps telling them that was not her real self. While she does have mental health issues she is not insane. They control and abuse her and put her down and I hate them. I want to go off at the lot of them. I think the idiot husband is the reason her family have turned on her cos I think he uses covert tactics to make her look bad. She cut herself and he tried to blame me. I was the only one that stayed with her all day trying to stop her. Her mother came over for maybe 5 minutes and didn't care much. Her husband was away working and didn't really care either. Only I stayed all day trying to stop her and hide her knives etc and calling mental health. Her family and husband only care about themselves. I hate them. My friend is cool,they suck. I think they want to get rid of me so they can get her under their thumbs again.
