My abuser was my dad.........am I the only one here that doesn't take pleasure in "father's day"? I am thrilled that my dad is no longer alive!

I think these "Hallmark" days can have this effect on us. Just remember you are free to feel how you feel and ignore the commercialised zombie event.

Yeah... me too.. I'm trying very hard to ignore the weekend.
My father was also one of my abusers though he too has passed... sometimes I just wished we didn't have any holidays...
