I’m not sure where I am going to post this nor do I know what I am going to type. I think I should just type what is on my mind…I was assaulted a couple of weeks ago and I don’t know what to do. I started it but then it hurt so I asked him to stop and he wouldn’t. I talked to a cop about it but he said that since I don’t have a last name they really can’t do anything about it. He told me that it will take about 3 months to get the rape kit back and I really wanted to tell him that he could go to hell BUT I didn’t. It’s like if I do have to go to court for this how am I suppose to remember all the little details. He did not ask for details and I find that very weird. Does anyone else?
How do I handle the flashbacks and also how do I put it in my past? My Mom is always telling me not to bring up the past and that I need to forget the past but when I ask how she doesn’t answer

I am so sorry you are going through this.
I recommend you call the rape and sexual violence hotline 1800656HOPE
