I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in PTSD(I may end up posting it in both forums)

but I can't seem to get my family to leave me alone

when I least expect it, my family seem to be in the room with me- talking to me, trying to hurt me, moving stuff around..

they live 2 hours away from my location and I know deep down they are nowhere to be seen

but

*shivers*

i'm not really sure about what to do about it

it all seems so real lately

Possible trigger:

but it was in to the empty air- no one was their to hear me

this is in the middle of the day usually

i can't control it and just want it all to stop

I have dreams of my family terrorizing me, in addition to intrusive thoughts like yours. They've subsided since I went no contact, but the best thing I did was get into therapy.
Remind yourself that they are just thoughts. It works.

What are your mental health workers able to do to help you with this, Atlantis?
