For years, I've worked to reconnect with who I initially was and what traumatized me so badly I had to let go of myself.. I've just realised my dad did actually hurt me (hit me?) when I was a child, it's not just something I've imagined, or just that I thought he might do so..

That's why I had to 'go into hiding' - to withdraw - to 'preserve' the person that I was.. And I'm SO grateful I did that! I'm going to turn that sensitivity into a strength.. Never going to give it up no matter how much the 'world' hates it

I wish you all the best in your healing process. You're trying to overcome your past, which is very courageous. Good attitude in saying yes to life no matter what.
