I feel so alienated from the rest of society because of how my parents treat me and what that led me to.
I feel like I can't talk to anyone about what I'm going through because they'll blame me. That happened recently where someone told me I was mentally beating on another person when the reality was I was defending myself. There was no parity in the situation. |

Sometimes the hardest decision that you can make is to limit your time with others who make you feel that way, even if they are your family/parents. That will not be easy, but it may be necessary. I am sorry that is happening to you.

I know what you mean. I had a final power play meltdown defending myself.

For me the last place I have to deal with emotionally abusive people is the workplace. I can't change how they talk to me or around me. The only thing I can do is change my place of work or learn how to not let it get to me. One of my supervisors is very condescending to me and I hate it.
