The word "abuse" sounds so .... victimizing, so negative ...
I wish there was a different way of saying it. I guess it is suppose to sound negative, but for cases where is not so brutal, it really sounds harsh. Maybe that is why I have such a hard time accepting it.

I know what you mean! I look at my mom and go "Her, abuse me? Never!" But I guess that's what it was... and it's hard to know what to think of it.
I dunno.

I know what you mean, the one word that still bothers me is r*pe, that word bothers me.

"a" use to trigger me, his name but not anymore.

Another word that I find triggers is being called "woman" I HATE IT, he always use to call me that, this current boyfriend does once in awhile, but I just have to keep reminding myself that this one is not him, is nothing like him, and i'm safe, it gets easier then ,but still throws me for a loop once in awhile.

I tend to talk fast when I have to talk about this stuff , almost like I want to purge it out as fast as I can. Telling it again to someone that's when I talk really fast..but I also do it when i'm nervous.

WOAH going off topic now.

But yes words do trigger me ,it's not fun.
