What a mess I have made of things.

I’m 44 years old and was told when I was 15 I had to much scaring from the abuse I suffered as a child to be able to have a baby. I found out about a month ago, that it wasn’t true. There is some scarring, but not enough to have kept me from getting pregnant. but then I found out a week or so later that I needed to have a polyp removed and a procedure that would make it impossible to have a baby. I figured logically, at my age and health, it made sense to have the procedure. But now I’m that I had it, I’m freaking out. I’ve dreamt that my little girl came to me as a ghost and asked me why I killed her.

I wanted to talk to my therapist about it, He was going to call me late afternoon today to check in on how I was doing, but never did. I’m stressing out over this because his supervisor, is a real shrew. I had a session with him yesterday where I brought in some of the Easter candy I made as a little treat for him and the office’s receptionist. But his supervisor had a little hissy fit that it was against the rules, which is absolute B.S. because when I asked if it was ok to bring in something for Christmas, it was ok, she said that “small treats at holidays would be fine.”

Anyway, my T did have a couple of pieces and I’m worried that she found out and he got into trouble because of me... or worse she fired him over it, and that’s why he didn’t call. I know I sound paranoid over this, but his supervisor is a complete control freak who’s changed the rules on us before... I really hate her.

I don’t know what I should do about any of this... I thought about leaving him a voice message, but I’m afraid it will get him in even more trouble, or if she did fire him, she’d be the one to get it.

I wouldn't think your therapist would be fired over candy. I wonder if your T got busy with his work and didn't get a chance to check on you. That seems a likely reason why he didn't call.

I would agree, but you'd have to know his boss to understand what a total power hungry witch she is. Plus he has never not called when he's said he would.... Something pretty bad must have happened

I hope he is ok and he calls you today. Working for a power hungry boss is awful.

He called, and verified our appointment for tomorrow. I'll have to wait and see what happens from there.
