Today, I offer this:
In our process of recovery, we can find the courage to draw closer to those who nurture us, rather than isolating from everyone in fear. We can embrace with joy a new spiritual family. Those in our lives who would hinder us can be moved aside, as they should be. With hard work and with hope, we can replace them with people who nurture us with respect and genuine care. We deserve this. be well, mtd |

It is so hard to trust even those who nurture us. I always seem to be on guard even when surrounded by the kindest people. I'm working really hard on talking about it with my Chaplain. I'm currently in Iraq right now and I don't want to come home with all the same issues as when I left. I just want to not hurt anymore. Is that so much?
