I am so frustrated and lost. I spent my first 10 years of life living with my grandparents. I moved in with my mother when she married her 3rd husband. He physically and emotionally abused me for 3 years. I moved back in with my grandparents for 6 months and because of behavioral problems and extreme anger issues, I was kicked out and sent to live with my mother once again. By this time, she had left husband #3 and had turned to heavy drug and alcohol use. At 14 I started sneeking around with a man 9 years older than me. We are still together to this day. We have two children, girls, ages 15 and 18. Three years ago, I was attacked by a resident at a group home I worked for. He disabled me for life. Since that incident, my youngest daughter started to show signs of psychological problems. We got her help but she was not willing to participate with any treatment. Since I am now disabled, I have become the target for her rage. She says horrible things to me and she sometimes lashes out at me physically, to the point I had to call the police and a domestic violence report was made. No one believed me when I was abused as a teenager and no one believes me now. She is only physical with me when there is no one around to defend me. She knows I am not capable of defending myself against her. She is my height and weighs 230 pounds. I have been to every county agency and no one will help. Is there anyone who knows what to do? Is there anyone who has been through this too? I feel so alone right now

Could a professional counselor advise you how to handle her? I don't know what else to suggest but you sure do need someone in your corner. Maybe the things you have been through also have a dynamic in the situation. I sure hope you can figure something out. Hugs!
