To be so sad
to feel so bad
to cry and moan
gumble and groan?
Not really I find
I'm so blind
to others pain
let this rain
wash away pity
cos it aint pretty.
Give me a spine
let happiness be mine.
make me brave
so I can be saved

from myself.....

What you are feeling is "right" whatever that may be at the moment. Feelings are not right nor wrong they just are at the moment. Please don't feel that you should stifle yourself for anything. If posting is helping please keep posting.

Your poem is striking and beautiful. You will be saved, you will be okay, you are a survivor, you are strong.

Of course you have a right to your emotions! We may not have the right to make others miserable with our feelings but if you are sad you are sad when it is time you will find the happiness again. If you bury one emotion you will dim them all. You may find that if you set a time aside daily to be sad you will find more times that you are genuinely glad. Hugs
